I'm Nali Simukulwa, a freelance writer, journalist and copyeditor from Liverpool. I specialise in LGBTQ+ issues, culture and personal essays. My work appears in both print and digital across publications including The i Paper, gal-dem and GAY TIMES.

In 2024 I graduated from the University of Oxford with a Bachelors in English and French.

​

I also write fiction and was awarded the 2021 Louis Macneice Prize for creative writing for my short story Babysitting.
